I must admit, I never watch that show or any of the countless similar cattle-market shows out there.
I did, however, watch that Youtube clip - that was one of the most extraordinary things I've ever seen and heard.
Good luck to the guy, but I fear he'll never be anything other than a novelty act.
Besides, he's Welsh

Why is it that people always watch American Idol for lols (at least in the beggining in the tryouts) and then Britians Got Talent comes on any everyone is amazed at all these absolutely amazing singing feats... I mean half the most watched youtube links for the day are from Britians Got Talent

Oi! Watch it boyo!
But yeah it's a pity as he is actually a very good singer, but it won't go past novelty.
Generally once the auditions are over I lose interest in these shows. especially this one, seen it once, seen it a thousand times.

ah-huh! i found that word lurking behind my brain Castrato, i remember watching a movie called Farinelli but the voice is generated by computer. this guys has authentic castrato voice. !
I don't think Greg's castrated tho hahah, he has male speaking voice.
after looking into this further, i think Greg is more towards this: Colaratura Soprano. like Philippe Jaroussky.
anyway! hope his dream comes true!
